Hi to all from Stovall Gardens. We are a semi small plant nursery in the Southeast Georgia area. We are family owned and operated. Though we are tucked away in the woods, we have customers as far away as Canada.
I, Laura Stovall am the primary owner of this establishment and I would like to welcome you to my DREAM COME TRUE! I have always loved plants, but never really made more of it than owning a few.
I wanted to be a stay at home mom for my stepdaughter whom is almost 16, so I decided to make a career out of one of my hobby.
I signed up for the Horticulture at a local community college. I struggled to get through working, studying...being a mom and wife. But I made it. Thanks to my family, my instructor, Mr. Mark Deal, and of course my best friend Patsy Stewart, she always made class a blast.
My instructor was the best...many thanks Mark!! I miss being in class, and especially the GH at school! But we all have places to go in life and well, now I have my own GH and business. Just know that all you've taught has not been forgotten! I also want to thank my Father and Mother in Law, thanks to their help, I have a GH! I owe you guys, and not just payments... :)
I really enjoy this business, it is very hard work, but it is the best! I am looking forward to doing some outreach work in the nursing homes. I want to start a program to bring plants to the elderly in nursing homes, and just anyone really who is in need of some enlightenment in their lives. If you are in my local area, or know someone who could use a " lift me up" gift plant, let us know, perhaps we can send something out to brighten their day! We are not wealthy, but we are blessed and we don't mind sharing our blessings, a way will always be provided...provided we have faith and trust....
